Bradford - Sr. QSW - Children and Families Team
EDEN BROWN SYENRGY is currently looking for an experienced & committed Senior Social Worker for Bradford Council, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established Children and Families Team.
Pay Rate: Up to £35.00p/hr (Umb)
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a complex caseload involving children in need, child protection, and looked-after children, ensuring high-quality assessments and interventions.
- Assessments & Care Planning: Undertake comprehensive, child-centric assessments (including section 47 investigations) and implement robust care and protection plans.
- Court Proceedings: Prepare detailed court reports, statements, and care plans, and represent the local authority as a professional witness in family court proceedings.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration: Partner effectively with external agencies-including schools, health professionals, police, and legal teams-to ensure holistic support for families.
- Mentorship & Support: Provide guidance, support, and informal mentorship to newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) and less experienced team members.
- Safeguarding: Act as a champion for safeguarding, ensuring that the voice of the child is central to all decision-making and that statutory guidelines are strictly followed.
