Social worker - Child Protection - Taunton, Somerset
Social Worker required for work within the Long term CP Team in the Taunton. Competitive rates of pay to £38ph. The team has a strong management structure. 3 months long contract, 37 hours per week. Hybrid working
The suitable candidate will have experience of working with Long term CP and identifying potential child protection or dealing with on-going child protection issues. Also experience with court work will be desirable.
The work within the team is of a complex nature, either high end children in need, or child protection. Cases also progress to care proceedings where appropriate hence the need for knowledge around Court work and the statutory requirements for children who are looked after
Applicants need to be experienced in progressing child protection / CIN plans with specific measurable and timely interventions and be able to recognise when further intervention is required to protect the children within their case load and take the appropriate action to address this.
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
