Social Worker -Adult Safeguarding Team -Taunton Somerset
Social Workers required for work within the Adult Safeguarding Team in the Taunton area of Somerset. Excellent rates of pay up to £38ph. 37 hours per week, 3 month minimum contract but possibility to extend. Exciting opportunity in a lovely area with good transport links from M5 for neighbouring authorities. Hybrid role.
Social workers carry out safeguarding enquiries by gathering information, assessing risk, and working closely with the adult, their families, carers, and other professionals. They develop and implement protection plans that balance safety with the individual's rights and independence.
We are looking a social worker who focuses on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them and who is competent and knowledgeable in all areas of Adult Social Care practice. This includes a sound and evidenced understanding of the legislative frameworks and an individual who has demonstrated continued professional development, to ensure their practice quality is constantly evolving.
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
