EDEN BROWN SYNERGY is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Advance Practitioner to join the Initial Assessment Team at Gateshead Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Undertaking Initial Assessments under Section 17
* Undertaking Core Assessments under Section 47
* Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47
* Undertaking Pre-Birth Assessments under Section 47
* Undertaking assessments using the Common Assessment Framework
* Undertaking Risk Assessments
* Undertaking Human Rights Assessments
* Undertaking Age Assessments
* Providing Section 17 support to families and children in need
* Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children.
* Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples needs.
* Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
* Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings
