Qualified Social Worker - Family Support Team

Location: Rochdale, OL16 1XU
Pay Rate: £39 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Locum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a dedicated Family Support Team in Rochdale.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and child-focused service, helping children and families achieve positive outcomes through effective assessment, intervention, and multi-agency working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention.
  • Undertaking Child in Need, Child Protection, and court-related work.
  • Completing assessments and developing outcome-focused care plans.
  • Working closely with partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Attending strategy meetings, case conferences, and reviews.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely case recordings.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within Children's Services.
  • Strong assessment, safeguarding, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced frontline environment.
