Children's SW - CIN Team - London Borough of Harrow
The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and addressing the needs of vulnerable children and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying risks and needs.
- Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local and national policies.
- Engaging with children and families to provide support, guidance, and advocacy.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to a coordinated approach to service delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and working within a CIN framework.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
