Redcar & Cleveland is seeking a dedicated and skilled Locality Team Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic Qualified Social Work team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families within our community. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will provide leadership and guidance to social workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery while promoting best practices in safeguarding and welfare.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting a team of social workers in case management and decision-making processes.
- Conducting complex assessments and developing effective intervention plans.
- Providing expert advice and mentoring to team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for service users.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
- Significant post-qualification experience in social work, ideally within a locality team.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with a commitment to developing others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with service users and partners.
