Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join the Child Protection / Court Team at Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Pay Rate: £43.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: CH65 0BE, Cheshire West

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a busy Child Protection / Court Team, ensuring high-quality safeguarding practice and positive outcomes for children and families. You will be responsible for providing effective leadership, supervision and management to a team of social workers, while overseeing complex child protection and court proceedings.

You will work closely with partner agencies to ensure statutory responsibilities are met, drive high standards of practice and support the continuous development of your team.

Key Skills Required:

* Previous experience as a Team Manager within Children's Services
* Strong knowledge of Child Protection, Court Proceedings and Public Law Outline (PLO) processes
* Experience supervising and supporting social workers within a statutory setting
* Ability to oversee complex casework and provide effective quality assurance
* Strong safeguarding, assessment and risk management skills
* Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making abilities
* Experience working collaboratively with multi-agency partners

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Services
* Previous Team Manager or equivalent management experience within Child Protection/Court Services
