Dudley - Advance Practitioner - Children in Care - £41.00 P/H Umbrella
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioner to join the Children in Care Team at Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.
Pay Rate: £41.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: DY1 1JQ, Dudley
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Children in Care Team, supporting looked after children and young people to achieve positive outcomes. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will provide practice leadership, support and mentoring to social workers while managing a complex caseload and ensuring high standards of safeguarding practice.
You will be responsible for undertaking statutory visits, care planning, permanency planning, risk assessments and court-related work where required. You will also work closely with partner agencies, foster carers and families to ensure children receive the support they need and their voices remain central to all decision-making.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within a Children in Care (CIC) or Looked After Children (LAC) Team
* Previous experience as an Advanced Practitioner or Senior Practitioner within Children's Services
* Strong safeguarding, assessment and care planning skills
* Experience managing complex cases and supporting less experienced practitioners
* Excellent communication, report writing and multi-agency working skills
* Ability to provide leadership, mentoring and quality assurance
* Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Services
* Previous experience in a Senior Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner or equivalent role
