Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Children in Care (CIC) Team at Wolverhampton Council.

Pay Rate: £30.57 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: WV9 5NJ, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom

As a Social Worker in the CIC Team, you will manage complex casework for children and young people in care, ensuring their wellbeing, safety, and long-term stability. You will work closely with carers, families, and partner agencies to provide support, guidance, and high-quality interventions.

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience working with Children in Care / Looked After Children
  • Ability to manage complex casework and support positive outcomes
  • Strong skills in building relationships with children, carers, and multi-agency partners
  • Ability to produce high-quality assessments, reports, and professional documentation

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Experience within children's services
  • 5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
