We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join our Family Support Team in Wrexham. As a Social Worker within the Family Support Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual family situations.
- Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide comprehensive support.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Care Wales. Additionally, you should possess:
- Proven experience in family support or child protection services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families and colleagues.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of legislation and best practices in social work.
