Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker / Senior Practitioner to join the Duty and Assessment Team at Staffordshire County Council.

Pay Rate: Up to £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: B79 7DW, Staffordshire

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Duty and Assessment Team, undertaking statutory assessments and safeguarding interventions to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time. You will manage a varied caseload, complete Child in Need and Child Protection assessments, undertake Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, and work closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.

You will play a key role in assessing risk, making threshold decisions, completing timely assessments and ensuring high-quality care planning in line with statutory guidance.

Key Skills Required:

* Experience within Duty, Assessment, Child Protection or Safeguarding Teams
* Strong knowledge of Section 17 and Section 47 processes
* Experience completing statutory assessments and managing complex caseloads
* Excellent safeguarding, risk assessment and decision-making skills
* Strong communication, report writing and multi-agency working abilities
* Social Work England registration required

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children's Services
* Experience as a Qualified Social Worker or Senior Practitioner
