Join our dynamic Assessment and Staying Together Team in Staffordshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) / Senior Practitioner (SP). Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and strengths.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and supervision to families to promote stability and prevent family breakdown.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection, assessment, and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
