We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Southampton. As a Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with other professionals.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
