We are currently seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Special Adolescent Team in Hertfordshire (Hemel Hempsted) at a rate of £37 per hour. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention to adolescents with complex needs.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assessing the needs of adolescents and developing care plans
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for young people
  • Providing direct support and guidance to adolescents in crisis situations
  • Advocating for the rights and welfare of young people within the legal framework
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker status with HCPC registration
  • Experience working with adolescents in a social work setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection and safeguarding
