We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Oxfordshire, specializing in working with children. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Undertaking assessments to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies.
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings as required.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
