Children's SW - SEND Team - Oxfordshire
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our SEND Team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring their well-being and safety.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children with SEND
- Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to provide holistic support
- Advocating for the best interests of children and ensuring their voices are heard
- Attending meetings, reviews, and court hearings as required
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of services for children with SEND
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services
- Registration with Social Work England
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies relating to SEND
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
