We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Nottinghamshire, specifically in the Duty and Child Protection Team (DCPT). As a QSW in the DCPT, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in the region.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children in challenging circumstances.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support to vulnerable children and families.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
