We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lancashire - QSW - Child & Youth Justice Service professional to join our team at a competitive rate of £36 per hour. As a Qualified Social Worker in this role, you will play a crucial part in providing support and advocacy for children and young people involved in the justice system.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and young people in need of support
- Working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals under your care
- Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as needed
- Offering guidance and support to families to promote positive relationships and well-being
The essential qualifications and skills for this position include:
- Qualified Social Work (QSW) status with relevant experience in child and youth justice services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with young people, families, and colleagues
