As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with disabilities and their families to ensure they receive the care and services they need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and developing care plans
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and families
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services
- Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities
- Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services
- Registration with Social Work England
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to children with disabilities
