Social Worker - Fostering Kinship Team - Liverpool £42 p/h

Eden Brown Synergy is Looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Family and Friends / Kinship Assessment Fostering team for Liverpool City Council.

The Family and Friends / Kinship Assessment Fostering service is a stable team and work extremely well together to ensure safety of children and suitable alternative family placements for the most vulnerable children in Liverpool.

This is effective under the close supervision of a supportive permanent management tier. Due to an increase in the looked after children population we are looking for 2 x qualified social workers who will have the skills and experience to complete viability reports and family and friends assessments.

You will have the experience in the following:
* Experienced social worker in fostering, preferably with safeguarding experience
* Experience in completing form C fostering assessments.
* Experience in presenting assessments to the fostering panel.
* Experience of completing viability, kinships and SGO assessments.
* Good working knowledge of fostering regulations/legislation and National Minimum Standards.
* Ability to work to court timescales.
* Ability to work closely with the local authority child care and legal teams.

Based at Parklands, Liverpool, L24 0TY out of the city centre, with plenty of free parking available
Pay rate £42ph ltd status

Car driver essential Hybrid working - 3 days per week in Liverpool, so will live within 1 hr commutable distance to Liverpool

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
