We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Duty & Assessment Team in the vibrant Fylde and Wyre area of Lancashire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families. As a QSW, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, managing cases, and providing support to families in need. Your expertise will help us achieve positive outcomes for children and their families, ensuring they receive the appropriate interventions and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans.
- Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience in child protection and assessment work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
