Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker to join our Family Support Team. This role is pivotal in supporting families and children to achieve positive outcomes and ensure their safety and well-being. As a qualified social worker, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to deliver high-quality support and interventions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and family support work.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
