Principal Social Worker - Fostering - Cardiff
Principal Social Worker required for work within the Fostering Team as a Social worker in the Cardiff area. Competitive rates of pay up to £41.58ph. 37 hours a week. They are friendly and supportive team, with management presence for any assistance 5 days a week. Flexible hybrid working arrangements. Cardiff is a beautiful and vibrant city on the coast.
The Kinship Fostering team are looking to recruit a Principal Social Worker. This is a non-case holding role within a developing and growing service area. Within this role you will have the opportunity to be part of strategic planning and development whilst retaining a level of involvement within day to day practice matters. Your role will focus on quality assurance work for assessments submitted from internal and external assessors. You will lead in quality and performance for the kinship service and be able to develop training briefings and session to improve quality of service provided.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape practice and performance in the team, whilst contributing towards service delivery and standards of practice. You will support the Service Manager and the team in delivering tailored support services for Kinship foster carers and a high quality service.
You will be Social Worker England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
