Job Title: Children's Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: 32 Engineers Way, Wembley, HA9 0FJ
Rate: £31.35 per hour
Contract: Full-Time / Hybrid

About the Role:
We are seeking a specialist Children's Occupational Therapist to join our team in Brent. This role involves delivering specialist OT assessments and Children's Social Care interventions for children with significant physical, cognitive, or sensory impairments. All work will be in line with relevant legislation and departmental eligibility criteria.

Working collaboratively with children, families, and carers, you will:

  • Develop tailored plans to promote independence through the provision of equipment, home adaptations, specialist seating, manual handling plans, and environmental assessments.
  • Support children's learning, development, play, social participation, and inclusion through appropriate interventions and adaptations.
  • Assess the needs of carers and ensure eligible support is identified and provided.

Working Pattern:

  • Hybrid working arrangement - part of the week in the office.
  • Flexible and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with experience working with children.
  • Knowledge of Children's Social Care interventions, legislation, and OT best practices.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
