Portsmouth - QSW - The Early Help and Prevention Team
Join our dynamic Early Help and Prevention Team in Portsmouth as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and play a vital role in supporting families and children in need. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families.
- Providing advice, guidance, and support to families and professionals.
- Monitoring and reviewing progress to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with policy and legislation.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in working with children and families, particularly in early help or preventative services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
