Peterborough is currently seeking an experienced Team Manager for their Children in Care & Leaving Care Services on a competitive rate of £45 per hour.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within Corporate Parenting, working with adolescents with complex needs and making a real impact on outcomes.

Role Details:

  • Role: Team Manager - Children in Care & Leaving Care
  • Location: Sand Martin House, Peterborough
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days in the office - flexibility depending on workload)
  • Rate: £45 per hour

About the Role:

  • Provide specialist leadership within Corporate Parenting Services
  • Lead practice supporting adolescents with complex emotional needs, trauma, exploitation risks, and high-risk behaviours
  • Drive trauma-informed and relationship-based practice
  • Oversee multi-agency care planning and support practitioners to deliver evidence-based interventions
  • Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities within safeguarding and corporate parenting
  • Promote a culture of reflective practice, collaboration, and high standards

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
