Hackney - Senior SW - CP Team - £39.04 p/h Umb
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Child Protection Team for Hackney Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage a complex caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need Plans, and care proceedings.
* Undertake Section 47 enquiries and ongoing safeguarding assessments in line with statutory requirements.
* Develop and implement robust child protection plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
* Work directly with children and families, building effective professional relationships to support positive outcomes.
* Prepare high-quality reports for Child Protection Conferences and Court proceedings.
* Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, ensuring coordinated safeguarding interventions.
* Maintain accurate, analytical, and up-to-date case recordings in line with statutory requirements.
* Apply a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.

Pay Rate:
* £39.04 p/h Umb
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' experience in children's social care
* Experience within Child Protection or Safeguarding Teams
* Social Work England Registration
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and court processes
