We are currently seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Assessment & Intervention Team in West Sussex (Crawley) on a hybrid working basis, offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and families in the area.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments to determine the needs and risks of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing intervention plans to support positive outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies.
  • Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with service users and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a complex caseload efficiently.
