Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Family Intervention Team (FIT) within Flintshire Council's Children's Services.


This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-structured and supportive team, delivering high-quality interventions to children, young people, and families in need. The Family Intervention Team (FIT) provides intensive, outcome-focused support as part of safeguarding and child protection services.

Key Responsibilities:
* Hold and manage a caseload, providing a comprehensive statutory social work service.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
* Undertake assessments, identify risks, and develop intervention plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
* Provide both preventative and statutory interventions, including child protection work.
* Participate in multi-agency meetings including child protection conferences and planing meetings.
* Implement care plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as required.
* Provide written and verbal reports for meetings and court as necessary.
* Promote anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice at all times.
* Assist in the development of good practice and contribute to team discussions and service improvements.

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW or equivalent)
* Registered with Social Care Wales
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in frontline children's services, ideally in safe-guarding or child protection
* Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
* Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
