Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans that support the best interests of children.
- Working in partnership with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure cohesive support.
- Managing a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning.
To be successful in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children’s social work, ideally within a local authority setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
