EDEN BROWN SYENRGY is currently looking for an experienced & committed Social Worker for North Yorkshire Council, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established Family Assessment and Support Team (FAST)

PAY RATE : Upto £37.79 p/h (Umb)

Roles & Responsibilities (R&R):

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with families, colleagues, and partner agencies.
  • Provide direct intervention and safeguarding support to children and families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory and local authority requirements.
  • Attend and contribute to case conferences, strategy meetings, and court proceedings as required.
  • Work closely with other professionals to promote positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Ensure compliance with North Yorkshire Council policies, procedures, and statutory guidance.

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
  • Social Work England Registration.
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle.
