Social Worker required for work within the Adults Care Team in the Devon area. This post will be based in Exeter - Location - Whipton Hospital, Exeter, EX1 3RB, which has good transport links to the M5 and A38. Close to the coast and in an area of outstanding national beauty. 37 hours a week with rates up to £35ph for experienced candidates. Flexible, hybrid working arrangements
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults within our community? We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our supportive and forward thinking Adult Social Care team.
About the Role
In this full time position, you will play a key role in delivering high quality, person centred social work practice. You will work with adults with a range of complex needs, empowering individuals to live independently and safely while ensuring statutory duties and best practice standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake strengths based assessments and develop personalised care and support plans
Work collaboratively with health partners, voluntary services, carers, and families
Manage a varied and complex caseload with confidence and professionalism
Apply legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and safeguarding procedures
Make defensible decisions that promote wellbeing and positive outcomes
