Social Workers required for work within the Adult Community/Safeguarding Team in the beautiful South Devon area. Exciting opportunity in a lovely coastal area. Flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Candidate must be:

* Social Worker.
* At least 5yrs post qualifying experience.
* Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interests, Deprivation of Liberty, Care Act 2014 - Good legal literacy.
* Able to manage the day to day waiting lists and reviewing function.
* Able to provide support and guidance to the team and duty function.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker practitioner who has experience of working with Adults with a wide range of presenting needs. You will be based in a well- supported/managed team.

Ability to respond promptly, carry out proportionate assessment and recording, working closely with community colleagues and health partners as required. Skills in Mental Capacity Assessment, establishing Best Interests and safeguarding.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
