Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated to join Advance Practitioner their Children Safeguarding Team.

Location :- Blue Bell Centre

Payrate :- £33.30 Per hour (Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

  • To make timely and appropriate responses to and manage assigned work in accordance with
  • Directorate policies and procedures, budgets and relevant legislation.
  • To undertake assessments in line with the "Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families".
  • To establish and implement family led, restorative plans based on the assessed needs of the children, young people and their families, the child/young person in conjunction with their family and other agencies.
  • To promote partnership and participation with children and their families.
  • To carry out regular reviews of individual plans, record outcomes and formulate plans based on
  • those reviews.
  • To maintain manual and computer based records in accordance with the Directorate recording policy.
  • To provide detailed reports for statutory reviews, child protection conferences, panels and courts as required.
  • To actively participate in supervision, performance management and target setting.

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
