Newly qualified Social worker - Adults Team - Cardiff
Newly qualified Social Worker required for work within the East Locality team in Cardiff Council in the Wales. Pay rate - £24.56ph. 3 months long contract, 37 hours a week. They are friendly and supportive team, Flexible hybrid working arrangements. Cardiff is a beautiful and vibrant city on the coast.
The team is the Dementia and Care Quality Team Adult Services Rate of pay is equivalent to a Grade 7 social worker. Teams remit: The Dementia and Care Quality team responsibilities include:
* Statutory reviews for citizens in care home placements. Working with Health partners to facilitate changes of care home status including Continuing Health Care. Providing contact for care homes managers and support to social work colleagues in unplanned reviews when required.
* Providing support to all forms of Provider Performance including a specific process for closure of care homes that supports citizens and families.
* Providing a consistent approach to providers and linking with colleagues in Contracts and Commissioning to develop and maintain process and uphold best practice in care home and dementia care.
* Actively supporting the benchmarking and development of knowledge of working with those with a dementia across the service and with allied organisations. To promote best practice
Ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
