Social Worker - Connected Person Assessments - Cardiff

Social Worker required for work within the Connected Person Assessments team in Cardiff Council in the Wales. Pay rate - £36.68ph. 3 months long contract, 37 hours a week. They are friendly and supportive team, Flexible hybrid working arrangements. Cardiff is a beautiful and vibrant city on the coast. Team meetings will be once a month.

This would include the completion of Connected Person Assessments and Special Guardianship assessments including conversion assessments for those carers pursuing a Special Guardianship arrangement. You will be responsible for assessing potential kinship arrangements and those currently approved foster carers. You would have to be able explain the benefits and differences of becoming a Kinship foster carer or Special Guardian for the child(ren) in their care.

Ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
