Social Worker- Adult Safeguarding Team- Gloucestershire
Social Workers required for work within the Adult Safeguarding Team based at Shire Hall in Gloucester. Excellent rates of pay up to £35ph. 3- 6 month minimum contract with options to extend. Exciting opportunity in a lovely area with good transport links. Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
This role is in the Adults Safeguarding Team based at Shire Hall in Gloucester.
They must be able to be in the office in Gloucester 3 days a week.
The role will be working across the Safeguarding Team to make an initial risk assessment of referrals received via our portal and to support our screening officers with decision-making as to whether a referral needs to progress as safeguarding. The role will also work on open safeguarding referrals and take on the screening and closure process.
To join us you need:
- to be a Social Worker registered with Social Work England with a completed ASYE year or equivalent demonstrable experience in a statutory social work setting
- have experience working within Adult Social Care, including safeguarding experience
- have knowledge and understanding of the legislation, models, and theories relevant to Adult Social Work
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
