Sefton - QSW - Assessment Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Assessment Team at Sefton Council.
Pay Rate: £35.33 per hour (Limited/Umbrella)
Location: Trinity Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 3NJ, United Kingdom
As a Qualified Social Worker within the Assessment Team, you will work directly with children, young people and families to assess needs, identify risks and ensure that the right support and interventions are provided at the earliest opportunity. You will play a key role in safeguarding children, undertaking statutory assessments and working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
You will be responsible for building effective relationships with children and families, ensuring that the child's voice remains central to all assessments and plans, and delivering services in a child-focused and strengths-based way.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Assessment, Safeguarding, Child Protection and Children in Need services
* Ability to undertake high-quality assessments and formulate effective plans
* Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills
* Experience working with children, families and multi-agency partners
* Ability to manage a varied caseload and work within statutory timescales
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children's Services
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies and procedures
