Sefton MBC - QSW - Assessment Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join the Assessment Team at Sefton Council.
Pay Rate: £29-£35 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Trinity Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 3NJ, United Kingdom
As a Social Worker in the Assessment Team, you will undertake timely child and family assessments, including Section 47 enquiries, ensuring that children receive the right support at the right time. You will manage a varied caseload within a fast-paced environment, working closely with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience working within Assessment/Duty & Assessment services
- Ability to undertake child and family assessments and manage complex caseloads
- Strong skills in safeguarding and multi-agency working
- Ability to produce high-quality assessments and reports
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
- Strong decision-making and professional judgement
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience within children's services
- 5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
