Sefton - QSW - Children Help and Protect Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join Sefton Council's Children Help and Protect Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive local authority dedicated to safeguarding children and supporting families to achieve positive outcomes.
Location: Sefton
As a Social Worker within the Child Protection Team, you will work closely with children, young people, and families to provide effective safeguarding interventions and promote positive change. You will manage a varied caseload, complete assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Child Protection and Children in Need services
* Ability to undertake assessments, care planning, and risk management
* Strong safeguarding knowledge and decision-making skills
* Ability to build positive working relationships with children, families, and professionals
* Experience completing high-quality reports and maintaining accurate case records
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children's Services
* Strong communication and organisational skills
