EDEN BROWN SYNERGY is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Advanced Practitioner to join their Emergency Duty Team at Lincolnshire County Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* The EDT Advanced Practitioner, when working as office-based Coordinator, is the first point of contact for private individuals and professionals, outside normal office hours.
* In this capacity they are responsible for the identification, assessment, and case planning to meet care needs of children and young people who require an emergency service which cannot wait until the next normal working day.
* This will require the worker to attend the presenting concern/problem/crisis if necessary to fully assess the situation and determine the appropriate course of action.
* The worker will be able to draw on locality resources but is responsible for out-of-hours assessment and care planning.
* The aim of the service is to achieve a safe and practical outcome until daytime services are available.
* The service aims to meet the needs of children and their families who may be in crisis.
* The role will involve dealing with the most complex cases, to maintain credibility and experience in the field.
* The role has acknowledged depth of expertise, including the assessment and appropriate management of risk.
* To provide a safe child-focused service and to assist in achieving a satisfactory standard of health and the personal development of the child, in an emergency.
* To develop a specialist interest related to child and family care work to advise and assist staff and the management team in the area of practice.
* To contribute to the professional development of the team.

NOTE:
There will be a requirement within the role to shift work, complete sleeper shifts and work 2 weekend out of 4.
