Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead our 0-12 Children Looked After (CLA) Team with East Riding of Yorkshire Council. This is a full-time role, covering a current vacancy, with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children in care.

Job Title: Team Manager - LAC Team

Location: Kernel House, Killingbeck House, Leeds, LS14 6UF
Pay Rate: £40 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a full-time CLA team (0-12 years), ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and professional support to social work staff.
  • Ensure team compliance with statutory frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and review team performance, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Support professional development, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and progress of children in care through effective leadership and oversight.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social work management, ideally within children looked after services.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory safeguarding frameworks and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 year's experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
