COMMENTS:
* This is a role in a Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team.
* Applicants will need experience in fostering assessments, particularly in respect of kinship foster carers as well as special guardianship and developing robust support plans.

ROLE INFORMATION/ DUTIES :
* Undertaking comprehensive fostering assessments of mainstream fostering applicants.
* Undertaking comprehensive fostering and special guardianship assessments of kinship carers
* Preparation of Court reports and attendance at Court
* Attendance at Fostering Panel
* Recruitment and Marketing activities linked to sufficiency of foster carers.
* Facilitation of training for fostering applicants and approved foster carers/kinship carers
* Supervision of approved foster carers
* Ability to travel to complete assessments as some families live out of area.
* Ability to complete work within tight and legislative timescales.
