Join our dedicated Children's TM - MASH Team in Tameside as a Qualified Social Worker, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in our community. Your role will involve assessing and responding to referrals, working collaboratively with families, and ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and determining the level of intervention required for children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and relevant stakeholders.
- Providing ongoing support and monitoring to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to share information and coordinate services effectively.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
