Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Team Manager to join the Court Advisory Team at Sefton Council.

Pay Rate: £40.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: L20 3NJ, Sefton

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Court Advisory Team, supporting the Team Manager in delivering high-quality services for children and families involved in court proceedings. You will provide leadership, supervision and professional guidance to social workers while ensuring statutory responsibilities are met and positive outcomes are achieved.

You will oversee complex casework, support court planning, provide quality assurance and work closely with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding practice.

Key Skills Required:

* Experience within Court, Child Protection or Safeguarding Teams
* Previous experience supervising, mentoring or supporting social workers
* Strong knowledge of court proceedings, PLO and statutory children's services
* Excellent safeguarding, assessment and risk management skills
* Ability to oversee complex casework and provide quality assurance
* Strong communication, leadership and multi-agency working skills
* Social Work England registration required

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Services
* Previous experience as a Senior Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, Assistant Team Manager or equivalent
