Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Team Manager to join the MASH Team at Knowsley Council.

Pay Rate: £40.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: L36 6GA, Knowsley

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), supporting the Team Manager in delivering high-quality safeguarding services for children and families. You will play a key role in overseeing referrals, supporting practitioners, making threshold decisions and ensuring effective multi-agency working.

As an Assistant Team Manager, you will provide leadership, guidance and support to social workers and partner agencies, ensuring that children receive the right intervention at the right time. You will contribute to quality assurance, performance management and the development of best practice within the team.

Key Skills Required:

* Experience within MASH, Front Door or Safeguarding Services
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding thresholds and statutory children's services
* Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting social workers
* Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Strong risk assessment, analytical and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and multi-agency working abilities
* Experience undertaking audits, quality assurance and performance oversight

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Services
* Previous experience in a Senior Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, Assistant Team Manager or equivalent role
