Bury - QSW - Duty and Assessment team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Duty and Assessment Team at Bury Council.
Pay Rate: £35 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: BL9 0EJ, Bury, United Kingdom
As a Social Worker within the Duty and Assessment Team, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments, managing safeguarding concerns, and supporting children and families at the front door of children's services. You will work within a fast-paced environment, completing timely assessments and working closely with partner agencies to ensure positive outcomes for children.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Duty & Assessment/Frontline children's services
* Ability to undertake assessments and safeguarding enquiries
* Strong understanding of child protection and statutory processes
* Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Experience within children's services
* 5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
