Eden Brown are looking for an Engineering Technician to join a Further Education College in Greater Manchester on a fulltime or parttime, permanent basis.

Role Overview:
As an Engineering Technician, you will work closely with lecturers and students to set up, maintain, and support practical engineering sessions across a range of engineering disciplines. You will ensure equipment is safe, functional, and ready for use while providing technical expertise and guidance where required.

Key Responsibilities:

*Prepare and maintain engineering workshop
*Support practical sessions, demonstrating the safe use of tools and machinery.
*Assist staff and students with technical problems and project setups.
*Maintain high standards of health and safety across all practical areas.
*Monitor and manage the inventory of equipment, tools, and materials.

Essential Skills & Experience:

*Relevant technical qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
*Hands-on experience working in an engineering workshop environment.
*Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
*Previous experience in an educational or training setting is desirable.

A DBS check will be required for this role.
