Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join the Fostering Team at Tameside Council.

Pay Rate: £46.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: OL6 7SG, Tameside

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Fostering Team, leading and supporting social workers to deliver high-quality services for foster carers, children and young people. You will provide effective leadership, oversee complex fostering cases, ensure statutory responsibilities are met, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for children.

As Team Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and developing staff, monitoring team performance, maintaining high practice standards, and ensuring all work is completed in line with fostering regulations, statutory guidance and safeguarding procedures.

Key Skills Required:

* Previous Team Manager experience within Children's Services
* Experience working within a Fostering Team or Fostering Service
* Strong leadership, supervision and performance management skills
* Excellent safeguarding, assessment and decision-making abilities
* Experience managing complex cases and supporting professional development within a team
* Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills
* Social Work England registration required

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous management experience within Children's Services
* Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, safeguarding procedures and children's social care practice
